Description

We are seeking a qualified Bilingual Japanese/English HR Generalist with a strong background in payroll management to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing payroll processing for our local workforce of 200 employees, including 17 expatriates. Additionally, this role will encompass various HR functions such as onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and timely for 200 local employees using ADP Workforce Now.

  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.

  • Handle all aspects of the payroll cycle from data entry to reconciliation.

  • Administer onboarding procedures for new hires and conduct orientation sessions.

  • Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.

  • Support recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and assisting with the selection process.

  • Generate reports and analyze HR data to inform decision-making and strategy development.

  • Collaborate with the general administration team to ensure seamless support for expatriate employees.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle HR, with a focus on payroll administration.

  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software.

  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Experience in employee relations and recruitment.

  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
