Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Duties:Administer evaluations, analyze results of evaluating assessments, and report findings in a timely manner. Formulate plan of care and set long-term and short-term goals for prescription of services for pediatric clients. Track and record client progression and mastery of goals. Observe and record clients' progress, attitudes, and behaviors, while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA regulations and ethical standards. Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to provide excellent care for patients. Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living. Teach pediatric clients and their families new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components. Assess information about clients' home and other environments and give advice on modifications consistent with their needs and capabilities. Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use. Guide and educate family members and caregivers. Use effective interpersonal relations and communication skills, facilitating the use of these skills with other team members to achieve desirable outcomes. Participate in staff meeting and in-service education.

Minimum Entry Qualifications: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Foreign equivalent degree accepted. Must be eligible for Licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Foreign Occupational Therapists must have Visa Screen/Visa Credential Verification Certificate.
