We're seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician in Carrollton, Texas. The pay for this position is $21 - $25 per hour. What You'll Do: Collect building material, air, soil and/or water samples. Perform field-related tasks which may include the following: conducting asbestos surveys and sampling, mapping moisture levels, assessing visible signs of biological growth, lead surveys and sampling, asbestos abatement procedures, monitoring air quality, mold sampling and clearance protocols, assessing mold presence, and conducting industrial hygiene assessments. Gather, analyze, interpret data and enter data into template reports. Implement safe work practices in accordance with OSHA regulations. What we're looking for: GED or High School diploma At least 2 years of relevant experience The following state licenses with annual refresher certifications: Asbestos Building Inspector is required Mold Assessment Technician or Mold Assessment Consultant Air Monitoring Technician is preferred Good driving record and access to a reliable form of transportation Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Able to perform manual labor and lift up to 60lbs; Comfortable working in confined spaces, climb ladders, outdoors in inclement weather, and around hazardous waste/material.
