In the Senior Accountant role, you will support the company's goals by preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, establishing budgets and forecasting, preparing audits, and handling internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every single day

  • Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary

  • Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests

  • Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP

  • Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner

  • Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

  • Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  • Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes

  • Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

  • Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives Requirements - Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

  • Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

  • SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus

  • Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

  • Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • 2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

  • Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

  • Prior work done in public accounting is desired

  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

  • ERP system experience

  • Skilled at time management

  • Proven knowledge of HFM

  • Consolidations experience

  • Microsoft Excel experience

  • Strong familiarity with month end closings

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Consolidated Financial Statements

  • US GAAP experience preferred

  • Well-founded grasp of financial reporting

  • Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
