Ministry Support (Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries) Maintenance Technician in Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Category/Shift/Hours per 2 week pay period: Full-Time / Evening Shift / 80 scheduled hours per pay period

Cumberland Crossings, A Diakon Lutheran Senior Living Community -- Conveniently located in the heart of Cumberland County, within the charming community of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Cumberland Crossings is seeking skilled and caring individuals to be part of Diakon's Many Hands One Heart team. General Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the maintenance function at assigned locations, including general carpentry, routine mechanical/electrical repairs and service, regulatory compliance duties, preventative maintenance, and completion of assigned work orders. 
  • Provide guidance and leadership for assigned Maintenance Workers.
  • Responds to building and equipment emergency situations when needed.

     

Education/Training: A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent skills.

 

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' building and grounds maintenance experience preferred.

 

ADA: Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.

 

Compensation and Benefits:
