The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premiere luxury automotive group, has an immediate opportunity in our accounting office for an automotive bookkeeper! Seeking a reliable, motivated individual with automotive bookkeeping experience who seeks to join a team with values based in kindness, expertise and family. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Posting commissions and costing new and used deals on general ledger

  • Reviewing and recording bank transactions

  • Reviewing and reconciling floorplan inventory

  • Handling customer refunds and cutting checks when necessary

  • Reviewing schedules and reconciling weekly commissions

  • Posting monthly reserve statements

  • Packaging daily new/used deals

  • Posting manual journal entries

PAY RANGE: $28 - $34 PER HOUR

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a high volume automotive accounting department performing the following responsibilities:

  • Posting commissions and costing new and used deals on general ledger

  • Handling customer refunds and cutting checks

  • Reviewing schedules and reconciling weekly commissions

  • Posting monthly reserve statements

  • Packaging daily new/used deals

  • Posting manual journal entries

  • Minimum of 3 years CDK accounting experience

  • Microsoft Excel experience required.

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and organization skills.

  • Outgoing and patient personality with outstanding customer relations ability.

  • Professional personal appearance.
