NJ Employer Farmworkers & Laborers- Crop in Cape May, New Jersey

Anticipated period of employment: 04/15/2024 to 11/15/2024.

1 month experience required as Agricultural Laborer.

Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest diversified crops that include but are not limited to vegetables, grapes, field garden flower annual and perennial crops. Use hand tools including, but not limited to, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. Duties may include tilling soil and applying fertilizers, transplanting, weeding, thinning, or pruning crops, cleaning, packing and loading harvested products. Duties may also include constructing trellises, repairing fences and farm buildings, or participating in irrigation activities. Workers who have a valid driver's license and doctors certificate may drive vehicles to transport workers and may be offered additional hours. See ETA 790 for complete job description.

Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office. Interested candidates must contact their local employment office to receive a copy of the job order (ETA 790/790A) and applicable attachments. Once the applicant has a copy of the ETA 790/790A interview required - conducted at no cost to applicant, via phone or in-person. Employer will conduct interview as expeditiously as possible.
