SAIC Scrum Master in CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida

Description

SAIC seeks an experienced and energetic SCRUM Master to directly support the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. The overarching purpose of the program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future. This position is located in Cape Canaveral, FL.

Job Description:

  • You will work closely with teams, leaders, and stakeholders to implement and scale the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices, ensuring alignment and successful adoption.

  • Your expertise in Agile methodologies, coaching, and change management will be essential in driving continuous improvement, fostering collaboration, and enhancing the overall agility of our organization.

  • Collaborate with teams, leaders, and stakeholders to drive the adoption of Agile principles and practices in accordance with the SAFe framework.

  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams to ensure consistent and effective implementation of Agile methodologies.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Identify and address organizational impediments to Agile adoption, utilizing coaching and change management techniques.

  • Develop and deliver Agile training sessions, workshops, and presentations to enhance Agile understanding and promote best practices.

  • Promote collaboration, transparency, and communication across teams and departments, encouraging a positive Agile mindset and culture.

  • Monitor and track Agile metrics and key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Agile methodologies and contribute to the continuous evolution of our Agile practices.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience.

Required Experience:

  • Certified SAFe Agilist (SA) or equivalent Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, Agile Coach, etc.).

  • Proven experience as an Agile Coach, facilitating Agile transformations and implementing SAFe practices in large-scale organizations.

  • Strong understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and its various components.

  • Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles.

  • Experience with Agile project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Trello, Rally).

Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Clearance.
