Honeywell Project Supervisor in Canton, Massachusetts

The Project Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Honeywell Project Managers (PM) in the successful implementation of Energy Projects by coordinating and monitoring on-site work activities performed primarily through subcontractors. This position will assist with the management of the overall relationship with the customer including technical or logistical issues that may arise with the implementation of the project plan. Primary function will be to interface with the Project Manager and customer to manage subcontractors efficiently and effectively complete the project on time and with a satisfied customer. Good communication skills are required as this individual will have interaction with the Project Manager, subcontractors, the owner’s representative and ultimately the facility operators. This position will require a good understanding and knowledge of construction and construction activities. This person will be required to read and interpret blueprints and understand trade terms and industry standards. Microsoft Project will be utilized to track construction progress and to accurately forecast revenue for the job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keeping projects on or ahead of schedule

  • Reviewing all job contract documents for requirements and flow downs

  • Implementing and monitoring project schedules

  • Assessing, monitoring and taking proactive action to ensure all appropriate safety measures are being implemented and adhered to by all subcontractors on-site.

  • Maintaining project meeting minutes and distribution

  • Reporting project progress to the Project Manager

  • Evaluating subcontractor performance against requirements

  • Assist with commissioning and record keeping of Energy Control Measures

  • Assemble project closeout documents and warranties

  • Witness pre and post-test measurements

    YOU MUST HAVE

  • A high school diploma or two years’ experience in HVAC trades, DDC controls, or general construction projects

  • A Valid Driver’s License

    WE VALUE

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.

  • OSHA 30 Certification.

  • 3 years’ experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Project

  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills with great attention to detail.

  • A proficient understanding of the principles and best practices in customer service

  • Excellent team and communication skills to work and effectively communicate with customer, trades people and
