Dunkin' ITM Market Development Planning Intern in Canton, Massachusetts

The Innovation to Market (ITM) team consults with Culinary and Brand Marketing to develop new product concepts and then is soley responsible for operational testing products for viability in our system. The Intern will assist the Operations ITM team in managing projects \across the Savory, Beverage, Bakery & Donuts categories.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working on ITM (Innovation to Market) process for Savory, Beverages, Bakery & Donuts categories throughout Alpha, Beta and Market test phases

  • Participate in cross-functional ITM meetings, bench sample reviews and product handoffs from culinary team to understand products

  • Assist to build supporting materials (readiness kit/job aid information) for test products

  • Assist with communication to test restaurants via email, conference call (zoom) and readiness kit mailings

  • Assist in the validation stage of the ITM process for new products

  • Assist in follow-up operation reviews to help determine the success of testing in restaurants and work with project lead to communicate recaps/results to cross-functional team

  • Responsibility for weekly Espresso Quality checks in Canton office

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred: Currently working on obtaining their undergraduate degree

  • Preferred: Experience working in a restaurant or retail environment

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES

  • Needs to have a vehicle and valid driver’s license to be able to drive to test restaurants

  • Travel will account for 30% of work week

  • Able to use Microsoft word, excel and power point; zoom

  • Able to lift up to 25 – 50 lbs. (product)
