Job Overview:

As an Accounting Controller,you’llbe responsible foroversight of all general ledger and cash management functions of the assigned client.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain day-to-day positive and productive interactions with staff

  • Track staff leave requests and timesheet administration

  • Responsible for hiring, discipline, performance monitor, salary adjustments, performance
  • reviews for general ledger team.
  • Initiate agenda for staff meetings and take the lead in running staff meetings
  • Assistin training Property Managers and other staff onAccountingprocesses and

  • procedures

  • Assiststaff where necessary with questions, requests
  • Review financial statements,budgetsand audits
  • Audit Tracking and Budget Tracking
  • Scheduling auditors for field work

  • Facilitating resolutions to anymajor issueswith managers, accounting staff, sites/board

  • members.
  • Scheduling meetings with Boards to review / respond to questions
  • Ensuring all task items from meetings with Boards are completed

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountingor related field from an accredited college oruniversity. CPA preferred.
  • Five (5) plus years accounting experience
  • Three (3)yearsmanagement experience.
  • Demonstratedplanning and organizational skills.

  • Ability toprovidestrong leadership,supervisionand coaching, including planning andstrategic direction.

  • Process orientation, analytical thinking ability, andproblem solvingskills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be detail-oriented with excellent organizational andmultitasking skills.
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities are necessary.

  • Proficiencyin computer programs like Microsoft Office, Outlook and Windowsrequired.

  • Ability to work with sensitive and/or confidential information.

What We Offer :

As a full-time exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental,andvision. Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000k/year
