US Tech Solutions Asset Management Business Architect in Canton, Massachusetts

Asset Management Maturity

Background:

  • The objective of Asset Management is to ensure that all company assets (e.g., technology infrastructure, systems, applications, third-party vendors, business partners, business processes) that support business operations are documented, maintained, and managed throughout the asset’s lifecycle to ensure that the organization is able to adequately manage threats, vulnerabilities, sensitive information, business records, and effectively recover from unplanned business interruption (business continuity, disaster recovery).

  • Without a mature asset management capability, there is an increased risk that orphaned, unmanaged, unsupported, unstable, and unauthorized assets will persist, resulting in information disclosure, system compromise, and inability to effectively recover from a business interruption.

  • In 2024, we will complete the identification of assets of all types, correlating them with applications, owners, business processes, vendors, business criticality, RTOs, EOSL, etc.

Responsibilities / Deliverables:

  • Serve as thought leader and facilitator for business and technical processes by understanding and gathering the current state as well as documenting a desirable future state, promoting enhanced security, increased efficiency, and greater productivity.

  • Partner with stakeholders across teams to develop business and technical analyses, requirements, functional design, and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and facilitating efficiently with all levels of the organization.

  • Document processes to operationalize the future state of Asset Management and lead the necessary change management for comprehensive adoption.

  • Document key policies and procedures to align with future state Asset Management processes and business capabilities.

  • Help to determine path forward to maintain alignment from certified applications to business processes.

  • Conduct assessments on current state asset management platforms, technologies and processes.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation , including metadata lists, workflows, and process diagrams.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and integrate technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Conduct system testing , validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure reliability and functionality of technical solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of experience with background in Asset Management. Should have strong knowledge about ITAM & Cybersecurity (Threats, Vulnerabilities, Risk etc.).

  • Experience as an Architect leader and facilitator for business and technical processes by understanding and gathering the current state as well as documenting a desirable future state, promoting enhanced security, increased efficiency, and greater productivity.

  • Healthcare payer experience or Health Insurance industry background is preferred for this role.

Education:

Bachelors or Masters degree in IT or any field preferred
