Key responsibilities for this role include:

Assist with pricing and discounting to all commercial customers for multiple segments, which incorporates a thorough understanding of all customers including: hospital systems, managed care, long term care, home healthcare and retail amongst others.

Evaluate each customer's ability and willingness to influence sales now and in the future using financial analysis and develop customer-specific contractual offerings that will maximize the long-term profitability including but not limited to: Trend Analysis, ROI Analysis, Contract Performance Analysis, Development of Financial Models, Creation and Tracking of Dashboards.

Provide guidance and mentoring to Specialists and Sr. Specialists regarding essential duties and responsibilities.

Based on analysis and research, make recommendations regarding contracting and pricing strategies.

Inform management of contractual rights and obligations and provide financial interpretation of terms and conditions.

Implement recommended changes to ensure contracts meet the market environment, life cycle management of our products and legal/government regulations.

Provide insight and ideas regarding commercial contracts and competitive activities and trends within the industry.

Ensure commercial and government contract compliance and provide analysis of performance for all customer segments.

Develop and provide reporting for both management and field teams.

Assist Manager with summer intern activities and training.

Participate in weekly meetings with institutional leadership team.

Administer pricing activities in accordance with the Pricing Charter.

Implement all pricing activities in the various systems timely and accurately.

Coordinate product and customer reporting and analysis with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Relations and Leadership.

Perform special projects & ad hoc analysis as assigned at Leadership's request.

Perform other duties as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of Commercial, Business, Marketing, and/or Finance experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

Must possess strong knowledge of sales, marketing, economics, finance, and accounting preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, however other experience is also welcome.

Successful candidate must possess excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; the ability to read, create, and interpret complex business models in a clear, concise manner; ability to be draw inferences from a multitude of variables in order to solve business requests; be a strong critical thinker; be a strong team player; possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships; have the ability to work both independently & with a team, take initiative, prioritize and manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines; demonstrate the initiative to work with others to advance knowledge and a willingness and ability to take on new tasks and responsibilities; have strong computer application ski ls especially Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; must be able to protect confidential and sensitive information.

Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents. Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence. Ability to work with managers or directors and communicate ambiguous concepts. Ability to present to groups across the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to work with statistical concepts and calculations.

Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis. Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is: $66,000.00 - $127,000.00 USD.
