CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN

Job description

We are looking fora humble,trustworthyandself-driven personto join our team as a calibration technician. This rolewillensure other measuring devices are sound and accurate for a variety of clients from healthcare, to manufacturing and government offices.This role will also be responsible for creating documents of data collected, travelling between clients and HQ, maintenance of equipment, accurate record keeping, studying forcertificationsand forever evolving to fit the demands of our clients needs as those change over time.

We are currently seekingan individual with mechanical backgrounds, great customer service and some sales skills. Appropriate candidates will have a solid work history in a related field with long term stability and consistent workloads. PreviousCalibration, Quality Control,orFieldService experience is aplusbut we will train the right person.

This position requires extensive travel. We recognize a traveling career is not for everyone so previous travel experience is a strong plus.

New hires willtrain withsenior technicians for approximately 6 months. We combine on-the-job training with monthly training reviews. Once training is complete and our technicians have demonstrated their ability to perform services on their own, they will be dispatched to service customers primarily in their local geographic area; however, may be dispatched throughout the state or other states from time to time. Technicians must expect to work approximately 50-60 hours per week including the travel time during our busy season.This is not frequent but does occur.
