Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in Canandaigua, New York. The HR Manager will be responsible for the administration of benefits, employee lifecycle management including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and compensation structure analysis. The role will also involve overseeing payroll and maintaining a visible presence in the company.

Responsibilities:

• Administer benefits, serving as a liaison for carriers and managing claims processing for workers' compensation and leaves.

• Manage the full life cycle of employees, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.

• Conduct merit increases and compensation structure analysis.

• Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

• Utilize various HR systems such as ADP and Ceridian to manage HR processes.

• Implement and manage HRMS and About Time systems for efficient HR operations.

• Ensure compliance and maintain positive employee relations.

• Handle Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration tasks.

• Be prepared to travel to different locations, as required.

Skills:

• Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with Ceridian, HRMS, and About Time

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Strong understanding of Compliance and Employee Relations.

Requirements

• Candidate must hold a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

• Proven experience in a role as a Human Resources Manager or similar senior HR role is required.

• Familiarity with Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is essential.

• Expertise in ADP Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now will be highly advantageous.

• Knowledge of About Time software is necessary.

• Proficiency in Ceridian software is a significant plus.

• Must have a solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll processes.

• Experience with compensation administration and benefit functions is a must.

• Knowledge of compliance procedures and best practices in HR is essential.

• Strong ability to foster healthy employee relations and resolve conflicts in a timely and effective manner.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the business plan.

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.

• Ability to strategize and formulate HR plans and policies.

• Sound knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics.

• Ability to build and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

• In-depth understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
