What does a Bank Operations Representative I do?

A Bank Operations Representative I is an elite financial industry professional with expertise in bank operations function processing. This role plays a crucial part in the bank's mission to provide an exceptional customer experience by researching and resolving the department’s processes and issues and supporting customer facing personnel with questions associated with Bank operations processes. Individuals in this role are consistently looking for opportunities to exceed expectations in the marketplace in a way that honors CNB's Core Values.

What is needed to be successful in this role?

  • A high school diploma or high school equivalency preferred.
  • One year customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with a PC and associated programs (such as Microsoft Office).
  • Strong customer service experience.

What does a successful first year in this position look like?

  1. Processes wire transfers to Fed and provides quality control on wires, verifying all information is correctly entered.
  2. Processes checks and ACH, incoming/outgoing and returned.
  3. Sorts and stores bank checks from branches.
  4. Supports functions within the Q2 system including but not limited to; enrollments, additions, deletions, responding to messages, tracking, updating and answering customer requests.
  5. Collects customer information to respond to subpoenas and levies.
  6. Process address changes, provide quality control on address changes
  7. Balances automated teller machine (ATM) transactions.
  8. Supports the mail functions for the organization
    1. Sorts, delivers, stamps, and coordinates mail efforts.

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $18.00 -$20.00 per hour. The actual salary offered within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, level offered, and performance expectations.
