St. Mary's Healthcare Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Provider- Family Medicine (Canajoharie) in Canajoharie, New York

Hiring range: $92,965-$125,565

Location: Canjahorie, New York

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

St Marys primary care network consists of 7 health centers located in Fulton and Montgomery counties. Each of these centers work with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimized, patient centered- care tailored for each of the patients we serve. We are seeking a board certified/board eligible FNP to join our primary care team. This is a hospital employed, outpatient setting

Responsibilities:

• Obtains patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies. Performs preventative health assessments, screening and patient care. • Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions via prescriptive authority or referral to other healthcare providers or community resources. • Counsels and educates patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. • Documents delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.

This position offers a competitive compensation package which includes a base salary, semi annual bonuses, sign on bonus, educational/CME stipends, license and DEA reimbursement, and comprehensive fringe benefits package.

Complexity of Work: • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Personal Protective Equipment: • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Required Credential(s):

  • Certified and Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP) by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), obtained prior to start date.

  • BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date.
