Job Description

We are looking for a senior IT Project and Program Manager based in Campoverde site, to ensure availability of necessary site application systems to support business and operation needs, in alignment and compliance with internal and external requirements and specifications. The incumbent shall protect the site and its operations against cyber risks, including unauthorized access to information, data integrity problems, loss of processing capability, and poor service levels at competitive cost.

The candidate will oversee the implementation of new systems and life cycle activities of existing systems.

The candidate will need to have a strong understanding of IT business solution application architecture and database design concepts of enterprise solutions in a regulated business environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

The candidate will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our operations and a long-term impact on our overall growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design, Implement and Manage computerized IT systems supporting manufacturing and laboratory operations of the site according to internal policies and procedures.

  • Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT projects and electronic data operations.

  • Coordinate projects belonging to the same IT program (such as digitalization)

  • Ensure security and integrity of data.

  • Ensure a high level of availability of systems owned.

  • Prioritize work and issue resolution in alignment with business priorities.

  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify areas of improvement, define and implement strategic solutions in time.

  • Be the IT representative in front of internal and external inspections and audits.

  • Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement.

  • Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed.

  • Collaboration and active networking with IT personnel of partner sites and with global partner functions

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of proven working experience in the pharmaceutical production industry or relevant experience in a production plan

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar scientific field

  • Knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems (such as Programming languages, Operating Systems, various SAP modules, SQL, enterprise backup and recovery procedures and systems performance monitoring

  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration.

  • IT Service Management knowledge and proven experience (ITIL)

  • Proven experience in working in a GxP regulated environment.

  • Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.

  • Requires proven problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and adapt strategies for changing business environments.

  • Creativity, innovative thinking, and decisiveness are necessary to resolve issues and drive the business forward.

  • Strong communication skills in Italian and English, both verbal and written, are required.

  • Ability to anticipate challenges and opportunities for the business.

  • Requires total commitment to quality and maintaining a high standard of work during continuous periods of change.

  • Demonstrates and maintains a culture of high integrity and strong business ethics.
