The Leidos Digital Modernization Group has exciting career opportunities waiting for you as we are continuously seeking Project Managers in support of the Air Force National Capital Region IT Services program. Join the Leidos AFNCR IT Services program and support the 844th Communications Group at three locations: Joint Base Anacostia Bolling (JBAB), Joint Base Andrews (JBA), and The Pentagon.

You will be tasked with supporting the Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) and Headquarters Air Force (HAF) customers on NIPRNet and SIPRNet domains.

As one of the Project Management team members, you will:

  • Plan, coordinate and manage small and medium projects.

  • Integrate all functions and activities necessary to perform the project/program to meet the client or customer requirements.

  • Direct project team personnel, manage schedule, ensure contract compliance, and serve as customer interface.

  • Provide strong, proactive, and assertive leadership skills that engage multidiscipline work teams to respond to business needs for assigned projects.

  • As the Technical Project Manager, you will support a team to develop and deliver capabilities while managing risks, escalating impediments, and helping to drive continuous process improvement.

Qualifications will vary, but will mostly require:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of closely related experience; a combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen; must possess a current DoD Secret clearance.

  • Solid understanding of Project Management and Project Management Office functions.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, partnerships, and external networks.

  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and work effectively in a collaborative team environment while keeping the team informed.

  • You will interact directly with customers (e.g., end-users, system owners, stakeholders, etc.) and enterprise architects as part of providing full end-to-end systems engineering leadership

  • Excellent researching, decision-making and organizational skills are required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience with agile practices.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
