AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Human Resources Recruiting & Training Specialist.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with management at all levels to identify staffing needs

  • Act as a liaison with public organizations, job placement agencies, community groups, colleges and other sources to identify and recruit candidates

  • Recruit candidates from various resources, including job fairs, internet job boards, community events, etc.

  • Conduct the hiring process to include, but not limited to, pre-screen, interview, reference checks, job offer and onboarding

  • Coordinate communication between applicants and hiring managers

  • Enter and maintain data in the applicant tracking system

  • Introduce training technology to the team and ensure required training is completed by the team

  • Create a cadence and culture of training expectations to enhance team member knowledge

  • Deliver training presentations, including preparation, facilitation, and evaluation

  • Work with leaders to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for learning programs in the field

  • Create an environment that promotes teamwork, pride and great service

  • Other HR duties and responsibilities as necessary
