The Department of Corrections (DOC), State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Camp Hill is seeking a highly motivated Licensed Psychologist Manager to join our psychology team and oversee the psychological needs of our inmate population.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, you will supervise the institution's psychological staff and be responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing of the psychological services program. Duties include screening inmates who are referred for psychiatric and other mental health services; making appropriate referrals for evaluation or treatment; conducting psychological evaluations; administering the scoring and interpretation of diagnostic measures; and performing individual and group counseling. You will also develop and write new policies and procedures for existing programs and chair several committees, including the Psychiatric Review Team and Mental Health Services Review Committee.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist; or One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, mental retardation or behavioral dysfunction. Special Requirements: You must be in possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. Applicants with out-of-state licensure must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment. Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation.
