Reference #: GAFLUS202411248EXTERNALENUS What You Will Do: As Gannett Fleming continues to grow and expand, we are looking for a highly motivated emerging Bridge Engineer to join ourdynamic team in Camp Hill, PA. We rely on our bridge designers to perform bridge design and inspection activities on various projects and to deliver high quality results for our clients.

In this role, the Bridge Designer will perform structural analysis and develop plans, special provisions, quantities and construction estimates for a wide variety of bridges, retaining walls, and other related highway and railroad structures.  A good understanding of highway and geotechnical engineering is desirable. As a Bridge Designer, you are an integral part of our team and will develop the skills needed for a successful career in Structural Engineering at Gannett Fleming. Come join our team!

Responsibilities: Perform engineering design tasks for bridge projects from preliminary to final design. Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages. Interact with Gannett Fleming project teams. Complete tasks with multi-disciplined teams. Prepare reports and plans required by the project development process. Perform bridge inspections and write inspections reports.Education | Experience: Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering 0-2 years of experience designing and/or inspecting bridges. Demonstrated interest in bridge engineering through applied academic coursework, prior internships, or work experiences. Familiarity with bridge plan development and detailing. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment, self-starter, demonstrated organization skills, team player, and willingness to learn. Preferred: An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. Knowledge of and experience using Design Software such as STAAD, and CSiBridge. Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design Standards
