Summary About the Position: This position is with the 401st Army Field Support located in Kuwait. This position will be filled on a permanent basis. Initial overseas tour is for one (1) year unaccompanied with possible extensions. Incentives may or may not be authorized. This is an Emergency Essential position. Responsibilities Provide advice/recommendations on interpretations and implications of financial data. Ensure timely recording of obligations to certify validity of financial report balances. Utilize a variety of accounting/financial systems including Defense Travel System, General Fund Enterprise Business Systems, Logistics Modernization Program, and Global Combat Support System-Army to review/analyze financial data. Interpret guidance, policy statements, directives, and financial regulations for incorporation into organization?s financial policy and procedure.
