Holtec International - Holtec Security International - Part Time Alarm Monitoring Surveillance Analyst in Camden, New Jersey

Under direction is responsible to collect various facts, and documents, circumstances, video evidence, alarm information and other material related to a crime and place them in a logical related framework.

** The schedules for this Part-Time position are as follows: 

Saturday and Sunday 0530-1730 or

Saturday and Sunday 1730-0530.

The position would be for a total of 24 hours per week.** RESPONSIBILITIES EXAMPLES OF WORK

  • To virtually patrol all public spaces within viewable area for known or suspect elements of ongoing or anticipated criminal activity, other suspicious activity, quality-of-life matters, and other conditions of police interest.

  • Process alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally in stressful situations, adhering to established alarm protocol.

  • Dispatch the proper authorities, verify that help is on the way and notify responsible parties.

  • To communicate situational awareness and virtual patrol observations to field units.

  • To evaluate activities to ensure crime prevention efforts are consistent with crime prevention plans, pre-determined patrol sector/hotspot expectations, and in response to emerging crime conditions.

  • To generate virtual directed patrol computer aided dispatch (CAD) tickets for virtual directed patrol assignments. Indicating camera location and directed virtual patrol type.

  • To complete tasks related to the archiving of video for investigative, evidentiary, and/or regulatory compliance purposes.

  • Accurately document all responses and actions for alarms and video evidence in account records.

  • Performs related work as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED, Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.

  • 2 + years experience in a call/monitoring center role.

    NOTE: Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Experience with alarm monitoring software (MKS or Honeywell) preferred.

  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office suite.

  • Ability to work in a high stress environment.

  • Ability to communicate in writing to effectively prepare findings and create reports.
