Job Description

Aerojet Rocketdyne, and L3Harris Technologies company, is currently seeking a Sr Associate Manufacturing Engineer in our Camden, Arkansas facility to perform professional assignments following established policies. This position requires some professional judgment and a limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. The selected individual will perform technical supervision and troubleshooting of complex operations involved in the manufacture of insulation components, insulated rocket motor cases, and rocket motor mixing, casting and assembly operations. Will Originate, prepare, and maintain detailed planning (Standard Operating Procedures) for the manufacture of inert/energetic components. Will perform hands-on pilot operations for manufacture of new inert/energetic components and development program components. The individual will accurately report problems, solutions, and results in concise written and oral communications. Perform mathematical calculations for geometric checks and chemical mixtures.​​​​​​

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2+ years of related, post academic engineering experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Computer proficiency to include MS Word, Excel and Outlook
