    Job Description

WEB AND DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST, Economics/Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL)-Policy and Communications Group, to manage J-PAL’s website and contribute to digital communications strategy, a key communication tool in J-PAL’s mission of promoting evidence-informed policy worldwide to reduce poverty. Will work closely with staff across J-PAL’s head office and regional offices to provide organization-wide website strategic guidance, management, and support; and act as the manager of the J-PAL website and take an integral role in shaping and stewarding its online presence. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree, preferably in digital communications, information technology, computer science, or a field related to J-PAL’s work (e.g., economics, international relations/development, social policy); five years of relevant professional experience; experience with and ability to serve as in-house expert on tools used day to day, including HTML/CSS and the Drupal content management system and platforms such as Marketing Cloud, Form Assembly, and Google Analytics; comfort working with new programs and ability to teach yourself new skills; proven ability to self-manage a time-sensitive workflow while maintaining high-quality output; and meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. PREFERRED: proficiency with Salesforce, other Google Suite web products (e.g., Google Data Studio, Google Optimizer, and Google Tag Manager), and UX apps (Hotjar). Job #23453-811/17/23
