LOCATION: 168 Third Avenue, Waltham, MA 02541 TITLE: Senior Technical Program Manager HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm DUTIES:  Execute strategic technical programs as Project Manager by defining projects, identifying risks, managing cost, coordinating scope, identifying dependencies, scheduling, and deploying new products and features.  Engage with teams and leadership to lead design and development of data products.  Take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces to deliver them in a successful and timely manner.  Lead communities of practice to enable craftsmanship for product owners, development engineers, quality, scrum masters and agile program managers.  Anticipate risks, manage escalations, anticipate and make tradeoffs, balancing the business needs versus technical constraints.  Create a culture that empowers self-organizing teams, with a focus on accountability, adaptability, quality, and speed to market.  Drive execution and facilitate SAFe processes, accelerate value delivery, collaborate across 4 to 5 Scrum teams, escalate impediments, manage risk.  Supervise/mentor Junior PM’s /scrum masters and mentor. TRAVEL: Can work remotely or telecommute. REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or closely related field of study. MINIMUM Experience Requirement: 10 years of experience in Technical Development, Program Management, or related experience. Alternative Education and Experience Requirement: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or closely related field of study, plus 8 years of experience in technical development, program management, or related experience.
