VetsEZ Product Manager in Cambridge, Massachusetts

VetsEZ is seeking a Product Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). As a Product Owner, you will partner with executive and management teams to define and develop high-quality processes that drive methods and technologies aimed at improving existing product lines or developing new product lines. Additionally, this position will plan, analyze, and evaluate the effectiveness of operating products. 

The candidate must reside within the continental US.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage prioritization among projects to effectively manage schedules, achieve a balance of capabilities and address resource needs.

  • Establish, track, and analyze product line performance metrics and take action to address issues.

  • Frequent communication with high-level decision-makers, program managers, and customers regarding the operational status and customer requirements.

  • Knowledge of agile DevSecOps methodologies (CICD) and SAFe framework is a must

  • Assess product and project risks and provide feedback for risk mitigation and contingency plans developed by PM and Engineering.

  • Understand and be able to communicate all issues within the Engineering and Project Management groups.

  • Identify and manage organizational and customer conflicts.

  • Improve relevant development processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or technical discipline.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.

  • Experience in product road mapping and product sustainment activities

  • Display a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results, self-starter and self-directed.

  • Multiple years of experience working in an Agile Software Development environment, including strong working knowledge of the methodology.

  • Experience being customer-centric, acting with a customer mindset (external or internal) and building strong relationships with customers.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in the VA or other health-related organizations desired.

  • Ability to obtain a government clearance.
