    Job Description

POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, INTEGRATIVE MODELING OF LANGUAGE AND LOCOMOTION, Brain and Cognitive Sciences (BCS), to join an interdisciplinary project at the intersection of language, cognition, and motor control that aims to understand the cognitive constraints and computational principles that shape the ways in which humans use language to represent motor actions. The postdoctoral associate will be appointed at MIT and jointly mentored by Noga Zaslavsky (https://www.nogsky.com/) , Nidhi Seethapathi (https://www.seethapathilab.org/) , and Roger Levy (http://cpl.mit.edu/) , offering the opportunity to deepen the collaboration among the labs of the three principal investigators (PIs).

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Ph.D. in computer science, cognitive science, linguistics, or related field by the start date. PREFERRED: expertise in the areas of computational cognitive science, machine learning, language science, and/or motor control; and a background and/or interest in deep reinforcement learning, information theory, web-based experiments, and semantic typology.
