Department Description:
CHA PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA). CHA PACE serves adults 55 years and older with chronic medical and/or mental health difficulties with the goals of achieving the highest level of community independence and preventing nursing home placement. CHA PACE's high functioning interdisciplinary team works to fully integrate and coordinate medical and behavioral health care, community resources, and in-home support services.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
The PACE Operations Manager serves as “Center Manager” and model of care expert at the PACE Center, and they take a leadership role in the day-to-day interdisciplinary team(IDT) operations. They oversee IDT operations functions (for multiple teams) including training, PACE team development, utilization review, quality improvement, and compliance. In addition, they also intervene to directly resolve complex participant and staff situations. Along with the Quality and Compliance Manager, the Operations Manager collaborates on operations related to program quality and compliance. They lead staff training, engagement, and other leadership activities that promote an engaged and highly trained staff. Facilitates electronic medical record (EPIC) changes and improvements. Participates in administrator “on call” rotation. Other duties as assigned.
Education/Training/Licensure:
- BS/BA in healthcare or related field; MA/MS preferred
Qualifications/Experience
PACE, health plan or interdisciplinary team, etc. management experience
Geriatric and/or disabled population experience preferred
