    Job Description

LICENSED INDEPENDENT CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER (LICSW), MIT Health, to provide individual and group counseling to undergraduate and graduate patients within a team model and in accordance with MIT Health policies as well as state and federal rules, regulations, and standards of care. Will assess patient mental health status through interview and synthesize this clinical information to formulate mental health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of follow-up strategies according to age-specific plans of care; and provide health education and clinical outreach to the MIT community in collaboration with other individuals or services at MIT Health as well as across the campus community. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: master’s degree in social work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education; at least two years of post master’s degree social work experience; licensure at the LICSW level in Massachusetts; and comprehensive clinical experience with particular emphasis on the provision of evidence-based treatment or group treatment (such as DBT), acute care, and crisis intervention.
