Insight Global GXP Cyber Security Engineer in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Job Description

A Biotechnology company is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer with expertise in Good Practice (GXP) systems to join their infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of our GXP systems (manufacturing and automation), which are critical to our pharmaceutical and biotechnology operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and maintain security measures for GXP systems.

* Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses on GXP systems.

* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., FDA, EMA).

* Collaborate with IT and Quality Assurance teams to integrate security into the system development lifecycle.

* Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.

* Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.

* Provide training and guidance on GXP security best practices to internal teams.

Compensation:

$75/hour to $85/hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

* Minimum of 8 years of experience in cyber security, with a focus on GXP systems (Delta V, Building Management Systems, Process Control Systems)

* Manufacturing systems experience (working on OT systems)

* Architecture experience (building a program, framework, architecture for a pharma company surround Cyber Security)

* Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for GXP systems.

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.

* Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.

* Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM). * Master's degree in a related field.

* Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA).

* Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. null
