Associate Manager, IT Risk and Control, KAYAK Software Corporation (Cambridge, MA): The Associate Manager, IT Risk and Control will take a balanced, pragmatic approach to risk management. The Manager will align risk strategies with business priorities and think strategically about IT risks, controls, and testing methodologies. Responsible for the execution of all activities affecting the company\'s IT SOX program including risk assessment, scoping, optimizing tests of design and operational effectiveness of GITCs, process documentation and flow charts, and other ad hoc projects. Monitor remediation of control deficiencies identified, and obtain business owner acceptance and engagement on these remediation actions including - root cause analysis, performance of mitigation procedures, and development of remediation plans. Supervise the coordination with internal and external auditors on the annual audits ensuring timely and smooth completion. This includes facilitating annual walkthroughs, managing the evidence submission process, and acting as a liaison between the auditors and management. Act as a trusted advisor to essential team members by fostering positive relationships with business and technology partners, and by providing routine training and support to ensure their detailed understanding of the IT SOX program. Operate with a continuous improvement mentality by challenging the status quo, introducing innovative and differentiating ideas that improve our overall IT SOX program, and identifying process efficiencies and opportunities for automation in both the control environment as well as control testing. Telecommuting from within the U.S. allowed. Minimum requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Information Systems or a closely related field and 5 years of experience working in IT SOX compliance. Special requirements: Must have a Certified Information Systems Auditor Certification.
