Aston Carter Sales Administrator in Camas, Washington
Description:
This position provides administrative support to the Sales and Marketing Department while learning the details of the products we offer and the customers we serve. Demonstrated proficiency in these areas will lead directly to advancement.
Day to day duties:
Assist Sales Supervisors
Answer phones and relay calls using multiline system.
Relay customers and potential clients to appropriate regional Sales Supervisor
Regularly monitor Outlook for projects to be quoted
Create spreadsheets to quote clients and potential clients
Quote projects for Sales Supervisors using Access database
Use coding system to determine parts and models of equipment
Quote items using current weights and prices, request new pricing when necessary
Research past projects to determine appropriate part and or model needed
Determine shipping costs
Request Estimates for modified items
Request Drawings for projects
Request Freight when necessary
Compile new Client records and update as needed
Package and Ship using USPS and FedEx
Create Letters of Transmittal
Create CODs
Work on special projects occasionally

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be professional, dependable, energetic, detail oriented, highly organized and possess the willingness and flexibility to assist in any capacity required. In addition to proficiency in MS Office, candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to learn quickly. We are looking for someone that has the ambition to succeed and seek advancement opportunities.
Preference will be given to applicants with a college degree and business or sales experience in a professional office environment. A mechanical aptitude is a plus.
Ideally looking for:
4 years of office administrative experience
a college degree
MUST HAVES:
Display professionalism in person and over phone
Manage time to complete tasks appropriately
Ability to use several procedures and processes.
Work independently or as a team
Communicate to internal departments using MS-Teams
