JCW Management, Inc Drywall Hanger/Framer/Carpenter in CAMAS, Washington

Role and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for properly fastening the panels of drywall to the wood or metal interior framework of a building; cutting the drywall to fit and the metal and wood studs to size; and finishing by applying drywall trims.

  • Professional work.
  • Framing of walls and ceilings.
  • Light gauge and structural steel studs.
  • Cutting the panels for doors, windows, electrical outlets, lighting, HVAC and plumbing fixtures.
  • Carrying and accurately installing drywall.
  • Attach drywall to the walls.
  • Cutting metal and wood studs to size.
  • Applying drywall trims.
  • Insulating wall and ceiling cavities.
  • Cuts and installs metal ceiling grid, with metal, wood, mineral fiber, or drywall ceiling panels.
  • Clean up.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 2 years' experience preferred but will train.
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
