Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon, NY. We are a Center who uses student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve. With a capacity of 208 students, we strive to achieve excellence for each student across 7 different trades.

We are looking for an exceptional overnight Residential Dorm Supervisor.

Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday 11:30p-8:30a

Residential Dorm Supervisor Responsibilities Include:• Maintains a safe and structured living environment that fosters student success.• Providing quality and structured activities including leadership, Student Government and Recreation.• Coordinating staff coverage to ensure student areas are supervised.• Provides high-quality supervision and management for the student population and positively influences student behavior. Shows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountable for their actions and behavior.• Ensures that Center facilities are organized, clean, safe and conducive to student achievement and success.• Works in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students.• Provide transportation as required.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. A minimum of one-year Job Corps or related program experience required. A valid Drivers’ License required. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
