Overview JBT Diversified Food & Health is a prime solutions and equipment provider within the Fresh Produce Technologies industry segment. JBT Corporation is seeking a Buyer/Planner for our Riverside, CA location to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to take ownership of their day-to-day responsibilities, work cross-functionally when needed and effectively communicate as any issues arise. A Buyer/Planner at JBT works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where multi-tasking, prioritizing, and organization is a must! This position will ensure that parts and components are procured in a timely manner to meet production deadlines and is responsible for communication across departments to ensure that customer delivery dates are met. Schedule: 7 am - 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday) Responsibilities Procurement activities supporting Fresh Produce Technologies (FPT) equipment product line Perform MRP analysis at least once a week and release work orders to Production Floor. Close work orders upn completion and issue product into inventory. Investigate work order material discrepencies. Perform capacity planning, including analysis of "what if" situations. Planning FPT Equipment projects to meet contractual requirements and delivery date Close collaboration with engineering, production, and vendors to create project timelines and priorities Managing all work order processing related to equipment projects Inventory management to ensure products required to support the equipment business are available as needed Why is JBT a Great Place to Work?
