The Idaho Youth Ranch is one of the oldest non-profit agencies in the state of Idaho. Our mission:

Successful candidates will have a once-in-a-career opportunity to be a part of the opening of our new Residential Center for Healing and Resilience, a 64-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) for youth, currently under construction at our beautiful 258-acre Hands of Promise Campus in Idahos Treasure Valley.

As a Administrator on Duty for the Residential Center for Healing & Resilience, you can proudly tell your family and friends that you help nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idahos youth as a part of the management team overseeing the program. Every member of the IYR works to contribute to the Programs and Services in their own way to make them accessible to all youth who need those services in Idaho.

Must Haves:

  • Must be 25 years of age
  • Must have a valid Idaho drivers license or obtain one within 15 days of hire
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of required notifications and procedures to be followed in the event of an emergency or unusual situation

Preferred:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Knowledge of ID and DHW safety and security regarding PRTF operations

Our Administrators on Duty:

  • Responsible for overall safety, security and effective functioning of the campus on their assigned shift.
  • Serves as the primary contact with program management and leadership in non-routine or emergency situations and will direct staff and facility resources accordingly.
  • Reviews scheduled staffing for assigned shifts, and monitors to ensure presence at posts, adherence to schedules and breaks.
  • Ensures appropriate reports are completed by all involved staff members for any incidents. Reviews reports and ensures appropriate actions have been taken and identify remedial actions.

Shifts needed:

Variable, mix between day and swing

PT overnight also available.

As a 501(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.
