UCLA Health Speech Pathologist - Calabasas in Calabasas, California

Description

Seeking a skilled speech-language pathologist who can provide pediatric outpatient services. This position is Monday-Friday at our Calabasas location. May need to occasionally work at our Westwood and/or Santa Monica locations and must be available to work at our Westwood and/or Santa Monica clinic locations for initial onboarding and clinical training. The individual seeking this position must have experience evaluating and treating patients 18 months to 14 years of age. Our patients are diverse and often highly complicated. The applicant should have experience with a variety of diagnoses including, but not limited to, fluency disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, language delay, language disorders, autism spectrum disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, craniofacial differences.

Salary range: 52.96-74.92 hourly

Qualifications

  • California State Speech Pathology license

  • High level of clinical skill to evaluate and treat children with speech and language needs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Able to efficiently learn new computer and clinic systems

  • Excellent documentation abilities

  • At least one year experience (no CFY)

  • Less than 4 years of qualifying Speech Pathologist experience qualifies for 7959-Speech Pathologist title.

  • 4 years and higher of qualifying Speech Pathologist experience qualifies for 9472-Speech Pathologist Sr. title.
