Administrative Assistant for an Engineering Dept - Cairo IL $16.50-$17/hr with Weekly Pay

M- F 7a-4p (8 hours a day)

  • Perform basic, routine administrative duties

  • Answer incoming calls on multi-line phone system

  • Greet and assist building visitors

  • Aide with processing documents, making spreadsheets and assisting the engineering department

  • Assist in compiling special reports and request information from other areas

  • Assist in filing and retrieval of information in both hard copy and electronic formats

  • Receive and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and prepare outgoing shipments

  • Operate a wide variety of electronic and mechanical office equipment

  • Schedule and assist with needs associated with internal and external meetings

  • Maintain office supply inventory and process supply ordersWhat you bring to the table?

  • Experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and able to navigate various databases (with training)

  • Organizational skills, multi-tasking and work well independently

  • Communication skills; both written and verbal
