Location: 850 76th Street S.W. - Byron Center, Michigan 49315 Job Description: 2nd Shift Start time is either 3:30 PM or 4:00 PM depending on the department Must be able to work Sundays Starting pay is $21 an hour for full-time and $20 an hour for part-time Position Summary: This role is responsible to receive product and check product for damage, verify accurate product and quantities received according to purchase order (PO) and pallet label using reports generated from the Warehouse Management System (WMS) This role is physical and requires lifting cases through the entirety of your shift! What you'll do: * Select products from the warehouse racks. Operating an electric pallet jack - assemble, palletize and shrink wrap products/pallets for customer orders. This includes fresh or dry goods. * For your safety, you must be able to frequently lift products weighing between 30-60 lbs. without assistance, and 75lbs or more occasionally. This includes bending, twisting, and kneeling to reach product * Maintain a clean and safe work environment * Report damaged products as well as quality issues and notify supervisor of out-of-stock or low volume product(s) Here's what you'll need: * Must be able to follow verbal (oral) and written instructions * Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and other material handling/industrial equipment * A positive can-do attitude! * Must frequently sit, walk and stand; use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls; and use both feet for repetitive movements as in operating foot controls. * Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with hands and arms. * Must be able to step up and down on power equipment repetitively. * Must be able to hear and see within normal range with or without corrective devices. * Must lift products weighing between 30-60 lbs. frequently; ability to lift products weighing up to 75 lbs. occasionally with assistance as needed; product weight varies by assignment, distribution center products, etc. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
