Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc Forklift Operator- Weekend Shift 2039 in Byhalia, Mississippi

This is a job for a Forklift Operator- Weekend Shift position with the company located in the Byhalia, MS area.

Job Summary:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for picking and loading freight securely and correctly.  In this role you will ensure that work is done, in a safe and timely manner. 

Responsibilities:

Drive a cherry picker, reach and sit-down forklift equipment with lifting devices to push, pull, stack, or move products. Check assigned slip-sheet forklift at beginning of shift to ensure unit is functional. Obtain proper documents from supervisor or lead person indicating priority of work assignments. Review reports/orders/customer instructions to ensure proper handling of product. Monitor assigned areas of the warehouse for damaged product/pallets. Ensure production standards are maintained. Must be able to work in a team environment. Other duties as assigned by Distribution Management Team.

     

Qualification:

HS Diploma or GED is desirable. Minimum 1 year of experience driving a reach/sit down, cherry picker and/or walkie rider. Warehouse Management System experience desired; High Jump experience highly desired. Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, reach overhead, and stand/walk for up to 4 hours at a time and push/pull lift up to 45 pounds.
