They will have the ability to work a job from start to finish independently from assignment. Has expertise on all internal systems within their job scope. A Journeyman will mentor other employees by providing training and guidance on use of internal systems. This individual will proactively identify improvements, responds in times of need, and makes themselves available to service team. A Journeyman will have more than 5 years\' experience as a mechanic in the power generation industry. A Power Generation Technician/Mechanic is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment used in generating electricity in combination with diesel engines. Their duties include monitoring power generation systems, performing routine maintenance checks, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing repairs as needed. They ensure that power generation equipment operates efficiently and safely to meet energy demands. Additionally, they may be involved in upgrading systems to improve performance and implementing safety protocols. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various conditions are essential for this role.
