Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. Manufacturing Planning Manager in Butler, Pennsylvania

Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for a Manager – Manufacturing Planning at our Butler Works operation. This position is responsible to lead and direct the Product Information group to ensure the integrity of Cleveland-Cliffs’ specialty product inventories and production recording system. They will also perform extensive, accurate and timely data analysis and reporting as needed supporting Manufacturing Planning, Operations, Sales and Customer Service, Finance, Claims, Quality, and other functional areas within the company.

Summary of Responsibilities:• Manage the performance of all direct report employees• Oversee cycle counting of specialty product inventory for Butler Works, Zanesville Works, Mansfield Works, and Outside Processors and Warehouses• Finalize inventory and production records in support of the monthly accounting close• Create new reports and maintain existing reports utilizing various query languages• Develop measurement tools as needed• Analyze data for proper presentation to management for direction setting• Assist with internal and external audit requests to review conformance to existing standard procedures

Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business, or another Business-related field• Microsoft Office proficiency (especially Excel)• Exceptional analytical ability• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines• Critical-thinking, decision-making, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing a team• FOCUS/SAS or other equivalent data analysis tools experience is ideal• 3+ years of experience in a steel manufacturing environment a plus
