QPS Employment Group has a great Feed Logistics Coordinator position available at a company in Bushnell, IL. This is a direct hire, 1st shift position. The Feed Logistics Coordinator role involves overseeing a team of truck drivers, responsible for ensuring the prompt and efficient delivery of feed to operations. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate and schedule trucks based on multiple factors.

Feed Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\ - Overseeing all aspects of feed delivery operations.\ - Ensure minimum staffing requirements are met by hiring and retaining highly qualified drivers.\ - Maximizes efficiency of feed delivery by establishing efficient routes and transportation schedules.\ - Assists with fleet needs and coordinates with maintenance on equipment repairs.\ - Work with various departments such as feed milling employees, procurement, field managers and producers.\ - Manages vehicles license and registration, and ensures all drivers have proper licensure and up to date training.\ - Ensures strict adherence to biosecurity protocols.\ - Knowledge of current transportation regulations.\ - Maintains proper documentation and records for all fleet activities.\ - Be proficient in other Microsoft programs such as Excel and Outlook.
