Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems and automation processes within our manufacturing plant. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment.

  • Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems, and other automation equipment. (Must have AB Experience)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuous improvement.

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of control systems to ensure their proper functioning.

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system failures in a timely manner.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all control system designs and implementations.

  • Document control system designs, changes, and maintenance activities for future reference.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in designing and programming PLCs, HMI systems, and industrial control systems. (Must have Allen Bradley)

  • Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in industrial automation.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision in control system design and troubleshooting.
