Bosch Communications Systems has an exciting opportunity for you! Do you have a background in the Pro AV industry, proven experience managing a distributor network, and a passion to drive brand awareness? Do you enjoy traveling throughout North America, and have the enthusiasm to propel growth with a stellar product lineup and team?

Reporting to the Director of Distribution, as a Distribution Key Account Manager , you will assist in helping drive brand adoption and awareness inside select distribution partners within the US and Canada. You'll collaborate closely with our Product Experts, Marketing and Regional Sales teams, while showcasing “best in class” solutions from Bosch Integrated Audio Brands . The Integrated Audio team has primary responsibility for celebrated brands like Electro-Voice, Dynacord, and Bosch products, being sold through our Reseller and Integrator channel network in North America. You will also partner with the Business Development sales team, and Product Management to ensure positive business results to meet the Bosch Communications Systems business plan. 

  • Drive Integrated Audio Brands adoption and specification with distribution Engineering Teams through training, consultation, design assistance, problem solving and relationship building.

  • Document interactions and opportunities within CRM tools. Responsible for regular updates and maintenance of those opportunities.

  • Maintain monthly communication with distribution Engineering Teams concerning projects and opportunities.

  • Hold regularly scheduled and on demand product trainings both remotely and in person.

  • Support application design consultations with distribution Sales Teams. When required coordinate with territory Regional Sales and Engineers.

  • Provide ongoing insight into opportunities for brand knowledge and specification growth.

  • Be fluent in competitive knowledge and educate the distribution team on sales strategies versus our competitors.

  • Assist the Distribution team in identifying key growth accounts and customer engagement opportunities.

  • Build deep POS understanding throughout their distributor to support the forecasting process.

  • Accountability for distributor POS, Inventory, and Sales-In performance.

  • Develop and execute business plans that leverage the unique value propositions of each distribution partner with the strengths of the Integrated Audio Brands group.

  • Develop and build strong relationships throughout the Distributor, collaborate with them, and hold regular business reviews at the Business Unit and Executive levels with the key distributor’s personnel.

  • Support the successful implementation of new products introductions.

  • Gather market intelligence and develop strategies to action opportunities.

  • Exceed sales budgets and critical business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in business or relevant field/industry preferred.

  • 5+ years focused on Distribution Channel Engagement and Distribution Sales Management in the Pro AV industry with a proven track record of success.

  • Current relationships in place today with regional and national distributors in North America.

  • In-depth vertical knowledge in specific areas such as Large Event Spaces, Arenas and Stadiums, Hospitality, Houses of Worship, Higher Education, Theaters, Auditoriums, Large Conference Centers, and Live Sound.

  • Ability to establish credibility quickly with key customers and current Integrated Audio Brands team.

  • Demonstrates strong work and business ethics with an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Proven ability to build internal relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional communication skills, which include both verbally and digitally with the ability to tailor communications depending on the audiences.

  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functions teams to drive results.

  • Ability to establish growth plans, challenging distributors to drastically outperform the market.

  • Experience with software applications including Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, and Teams) and Power BI.

  • Excel expertise with advanced knowledge of pivots, charts, and formulas.

  • Ability to travel more than 50% of the time.
