Securitas Security Services is looking for Security Supervisors in Burlington, VT.

This position will provide support to the security team by performing a variety of administrative and operational tasks.

Pay: $25.00/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Requirements: Meet minimums of Security Officer and, - Minimum four (4) years prior Security Officer experience, and one (1) year Supervisor experience. Prior military or law enforcement preferred, but not required.

Position Summary:

Supervise and coordinate the assignments and functions of the security staff. Be responsible for notifying the security staff of emergency conditions, security risks, losses, and incidents of unusual nature. Ensure that security staff responds to such occurrences and takes appropriate action immediately. Notify the designated Regional Security Manager and others, and assist emergency response personnel and agencies when conditions warrant. Ensure that all such occurrences are recorded in the manner determined by Regional Security Manager. Be responsible for ensuring that security staff members are fully instructed in post procedures before and during post assignments. Make periodic inspections of all active posts and coordinate these inspections with the Regional Security Manager. Review for accuracy and completeness all log entries, records, work schedules, and time records for security staff. At the end of each shift, inform the on-coming staff of current or past conditions pertinent to the premises. Be responsible for ensuring that Officers have proper uniforms, equipment, and other supplies. Test all equipment periodically and ensure all are functioning properly. Resolve security staff personnel crises and other situations in a consistently calm and objective manager. Function as a liaison between the site security staff and Regional Security Manager.
