Kubricky Construction Corp., a leader in today’s civil construction industry is looking for Laborers to join our growing team. You will become a valued member of a family owned and operated company that prioritizes safety above all and does a variety of work including, but not limited to, heavy highway construction, bridge building and remediation and dam rehabilitation. You will gain vast construction experience and have opportunities to grow within the company.

Essential functions of the position :

  • Perform a variety of tasks that will include having to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, stretch, walk, climb, and bend under potentially adverse field conditions and be able to perform visual tasks such as back up spotting and be able to hear and react to back up alarms, per safety protocols.

Job responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Following safety rules, regulations and procedures is mandatory

  • Perform tasks involving physical labor at heavy construction projects

  • Perform selected demolition and removal of concrete and asphalt materials, fixtures, and other construction debris using mechanical and non-mechanical methods

  • Dump, spread, and tamp asphalt to repair joints and patch broken pavement

  • Perform roadside landscaping work such as clearing weeds and brush

  • Shovel, pour ad spread asphalt, concrete and other materials

  • Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.

  • Lubricate, clean and possibly repair machinery, equipment and tools

  • Perform material handling and storage

  • Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials

  • The candidate must be willing to work long hours when required, some weekends and possible night work

  • Be flexible and able to take and follow orders in an independent or group setting

  • Have the ability to work in extreme weather conditions

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Must pass a pre-hire drug screen (Drug Free Employer)

  • Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to report to work on time

  • Current OSHA 10 card holders preferred

  • Must be willing to travel to various job sites

  • Ability to orally communicate with all workers and representatives on job site

Base salary range:

Laborer

$30,400-$77,500

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
