Posting Summary

Serve as graduate recruitment manager within the framework of the University’s enrollment targets and consistent with the mission and annual objectives of the Graduate College. Recruit within specific program areas and conduct activities to support the recruitment of academically qualified and diverse graduate students. Work with Graduate Admissions, Strategic Communications and campus partners to provide excellent prospect management/service, collaborate with the academic units’ dean’s offices, faculty program directors, and external partners as necessary. Conduct large and small group presentations, attend job fairs, conferences, etc., and represent the University of Vermont on and off campus.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree. Demonstrated multicultural competency and a commitment to recruit a diverse student population. Effective communication skills, both oral and written. Basic computing skills (word processing, spreadsheet, database, and familiarity with relational student databases).

Desirable Qualifications

Anticipated Pay Range $60,000-$65,000

Other Information

Ability to travel outside Vermont including internationally, required.

Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position
